Objectives:

  • Provide preventive and promotive Health Care to empower customers to take responsibility for their own Health
  • Promote access of communities to all levels of health care available in the
    Province through an efficient, effective and acceptable referral pathway
  • Provide adequate resources in order to ensure quality care in the Health Care Facilities at all levels of care
  • Develop capacity/competencies for the prevention, early detection and management communicable emerging and re-emerging diseases in the District.
  • Develop strategies for addressing the effects of poverty on the communities.
