Hlabisa hospital is a district hospital with 265 usable beds located in Umkhanyakude.
The hospital serves communities in the Hlabisa, Mtubatuba and part of the big five municipalities. Hlabisa hospital's vision is to achieve optimal health status for all persons in the Hlabisa sub district. The hospital is overseeing 17 fixed clinics.
Hlabisa hospital was accredited as a baby friendly hospital in 1999.
To get to Hlabisa hospital, on the N2 take the Nkodibe (Mtubatuba) off-ramp and drive for about 50 km to the Hlabisa reserve.
